Jökulsárlón

The long winter hours worked in our favor - the late sunset meant an amazing array of colors at the glacier lagoon, Jökulsárlón, on the south coast of Iceland. The sun breaking through the clouds created a rainbow on the glacier at the far end of the lake. Chunks of ice washed up on the black sand beach and fingers of sun stole through gaps in the cloud.
