Off the island

I ventured out to Brooklyn to take a course offered through Outdoor Bound, a company that offers day-trips and immersion into nature for New York's city-dwellers. Most photography classes offered are based in Manhattan and the guide said that this class was offered with the Brooklynites in mind; however, of the 7 taking the class, 6 had journeyed from Manhattan. The class concentrated on the basics of photography and gave time for everyone to learn the modes of their cameras - unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected and I felt it didn't teach me anything new.

Nevertheless, it was also a beautiful autumn day and it was the perfect place to be.
